5 Stylish Standing Poses for Men
The selfie is dying. If the majority of memberships on today's dating apps are 80% men then your bedroom pic isn’t going to cut it any more.
If you’re headed to one of our photoshoots on the other hand then the future is looking a little brighter and we’ve got some professional posing tips to help get you prepped and ready for business.
Male posing ideas
These poses are all easy to pull off and will hopefully pull you out of the crowds and give your pictures a lift in every department.
1. The Cuff Adjustment
One for the 007 fans out there who settle for nothing less than the immaculate.
2. The Head Rest
Infinite creativity to be applied here, adjust the arm as you see fit but ensure the casual nature of the self made headrest doesn’t outdo the style.
3. The Button Up
This is a staple in the world of photography. A perfect partner for the blazer or suit jacket, this offers a debonair flavour and a swarve image.

4. The Diamond Leg
Acheivable with or without back support this helps to fill out a photo with body depth and suggestive motion.
5. The Observer
This one cheats a little as you’re not fully stood up, nor do you need to be. Huddle the arms so the collected approach still comes across and lean in to the lens showcasing whatever mood you might be in.
Professional poses for guys
The more time spent in front of the camera the better you become, naturally throwing away the nerves and putting your own spin on your poses.
For those that want a little more guidance we offer this to you during our photoshoots, ensuring that each snap still has professional cadence even if you are a beginner.
